Black Scalloped Romper

Happy Saturday, friends! I hope you’re having a beautiful weekend so far! Today I wanted to share this adorable romper (under $70!) and talk about a little something different. After posting this photo to my Instagram, I received a number of comments and emails about what to wear underneath. With a plunging neckline or even a very low back, the whole bra situation can be difficult. I wanted to share what has worked for me and some tips for sporting those “hard to wear” outfits.

For this particular romper, or anything low cut to where a normal bra would show, I recommend these. Similar to a sticky bra, they adhere and create a smooth look. If you are small chested like me, you will use these time and time, again. They also last forever – just make sure to hand wash them with warm water after use and let them dry. For backless or strapless dresses and tops, I recommend this bra or the sticky bra (this one from Target is also great). I always have this on hand which comes into play when you don’t want your garment to move. For instance, this romper has a plunging neckline, so I adhered this fashion tape to the inside scallops on my chest so that with wind, leaning over, or certain movements, nothing would show.
