Black-Owned Businesses To Support

black-owned-small-businesses-to-support

Last week I took the time to pause, listen, learn, and stand in solidarity with the black community. It was incredibly eye opening and transformative. During this time I read so much on anti-racism and educated myself on how to be a better ally. There is much more work to be done, and it will require much dedication to accomplish, but I plan on making long-term efforts to create positive effects for equality. I understand that I will never understand, but I am committed to doing the work.

Today I want to highlight a few beautiful Black-owned small businesses to support. While I have included the brands and websites below, I also want to remind you that there are ways to support non-monetarily such as following on social channels, liking their content, and sharing with others. This is only a small, consolidated list so I would love for you to share some of your favorites with me, as well.

Top Row: Fanm Mon (US, Turkey, Ukraine), Brother Vellies (Brooklyn, NY), Natasja Sadi at Cake Atelier Amsterdam (Amsterdam)

Middle Row: Estelle Colored Glass (Charleston, SC), Ronni Nicole (Upper Bucks County, PA), Sika Designs (London, England)

Bottom Row: Diane Hill Design (Hertfordshire, England), Lemlem, La Tuile à loup (Paris, FR)

    Dear Lauren,

Thank so for this post. I appreciate it. I ordered a set of wine glasses for my dear friend from college. She has been an influence on me and educated me in these important matters.
