I want to introduce you to a somewhat new designer, to me at least, Miguelina. I discovered the brand last summer but purchased my first items from the label a month back. What initially caught my eye from the Dominican designer was the vacation inspired designs with an incredible attention to detail. All of the pieces are perfect for travel, carefully crafted, and create a stylish statement. I mean, how amazing is this jumpsuit?! The brand takes you from a day at the beach to a sunset dinner beautifully and effortlessly.
While it is hard to pick favorites, I ultimately decided on this orange polka-dot top + skirt set because I love the lace and the embroidered dragonflies that fly above it. The terra cotta color is so different from anything else in my closet. It is also perfect for any University of Texas fans out there!! I was excited to pack this look with me on our trip to Cabo and wore it to dinner on our first night. The fabric is light and airy, making it ideal for warm weather temperatures. The skirt, complete with mother of pearl buttons down the front, also has pockets, one of my favorite design details in any garment!
Today on Moda Operandi, there is a trunkshow for Miguelina, featuring next season’s collection. To highlight a few favorites, I am in LOVE with this color block maxi dress, which doubles as a swimsuit coverup, along with this stunning laser cut dress. As mentioned above, these pieces are so beautifully made and super chic for a beach getaway. If you have an upcoming trip planned, or for brides-to-be, make sure to check out the trunkshow and pre-order today!
