Fall is officially upon us and things seem to get busier and busier this time of year. While we are still spending most of our days at home, trying to divide our time and calendars to accommodate everything can still be a bit hectic! It is always SO nice when the grandparents give us a night off and watch our son, Murphy. Especially at this busy toddler stage! Last week our parents surprised us, picked him up for a little adventure followed by a sleepover. With such short notice, we decided to have an impromptu date night at home, just the two of us!
Since this was not how we had foreseen the night going, I decided to hop online and order just a few necessities to create a cheeseboard for our date! I used the Walmart’s Online Pickup & Delivery option, which was beyond easy and seamless to use. After picking out everything we needed the food arrived in less than 2-hours at our door! How simple is that? I love making the most of our limited time together and the ease of Walmart’s Online Pickup & Delivery made that happen.
If you are wanting to create a date night at home, girls night, or whatever the occasion may be, here are a few of the items I ordered from Walmart to create a wine + cheese night. For starters, a few fruits including apples, grapes and strawberries. I love adding color and variety to a cheeseboard. Next up – the cheese. I picked up the Red Apple Cheese Mango Habanero, Tilamook Sharp Cheddar, and this Brie. I added these Toasteds Crackers to accompany. Lastly, I added some La Croix and Kim Crawford wine for sipping.
Whether it be at home, at a restaurant, picnic, or wherever a cheeseboard is always our go-to. It was so nice to be able to make one in the comfort of our home, enjoy every second of our time together, and save us the energy of running out to the store. Please keep in mind that while using this convenient service is a $35 minimum and small delivery fee with Pickup and Delivery available in select markets.
