It’s that time of year again! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is upon us (1 more day!). I was so excited to shop the sale Tuesday at Nordstrom Northpark and can’t wait to share my finds with you all! In the meantime, I wanted to go over some sale FAQ’s as well as dates so that you are prepped and ready for the biggest sale of the year! As a reminder, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale features brand new pre-fall items in every category (Women’s, Men’s, Kids, Home, Shoes, Beauty, and more). Prices go up August 5th.

DATES TO KNOW

This year Nordstrom is opening the sale to Early Access Nordy Members on Friday, July 12th however, if you are a Nordy Club Icon or Ambassador you can begin shopping online TODAY at 12:30pm ET. Early access is for Nordstrom Cardholders and they receive exclusive perks as well as 7 days to shop the sale before it opens to the public. On July 19th, the sale is open to all until August 5th when prices go up!

HOW TO BECOME A CARDHOLDER 

If you aren’t a Nordstrom cardholder but would like to be, you can apply here. Once you are approved you can begin shopping right away and you will also receive a $40 Nordstrom note to use on future purchases! As mentioned above, there are even more perks to becoming a cardholder that you can read more about here.

MY TIPS FOR SHOPPING THE NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE

1. Shop Online! I prefer to shop the NSALE online in the comfort of my home because the stores can become a zoo!
2. Use your double points days for shopping the sale! Don’t forget, these can also be applied to online shopping days.
3. Have a game plan and strategy! Every year I like to stock up on basics, a few sweaters, and something fun/trendy! So far for this year I went in with a plan to find a new pair of jeans, classic boots, a couple of athletic looks, and of course my favorite beauty items. I found a couple of trendier jewelry pieces that I will be sharing soon as well as all of the above. Think about what your closet or family needs! A few ideas include car seats and strollers (yes, they are included in the sale this year!), intimates, shoes, a classic coat! I also love to stock up on gifts like home items and candles to have during the holidays.

4. Since items tend to sell out very quickly, I will be sharing a post on what products I predict will go the fastest – stay tuned! Again, you can browse through the online catalog here and find what catches your eye. When the sale opens, make sure to grab those pieces first!
