After our recent staycation at the Ritz Carlton Dallas this past weekend (sharing more on that Friday!) I thought it would be fun to share the beauty products I tote around while traveling. Whenever we travel, whether it be near or far, I notice a difference in my body due to less sleep, less water, and a change from my everyday routines. Therefore, I try to make up where I can with products! I also prefer to spend less time on my make-up and hair (if possible!) and rather go for a more natural, less hassle look.
Here are my musts!
I have been a longtime fan of One Truffle for their clear pouches, cases, and leather goods. I bought my first one years back for my carry on tote to easily see and access whatever I might need. It works great for your carry-on bags, too!
La Mer – My New Year’s resolution this year was to begin a skincare regimen (so far, so good!). A month or so ago I purchased a few La Mer products from Nordstrom and am really enjoying them. While they are definitely on the pricey side, I decided to look at it as an investment for myself and my skin. Hey, if I am willing to spend $100 on a dress that I may wear a handful of times, why would I not be willing to spend that much on my skin?! This gel cleanser is great!! It is soft, gentle, and I really enjoy the scent. I also use this tinted SPF instead of foundation on those fuss free, minimal makeup days.
Erno Laszlo Mask – I always take a mask or exfoliator with me when I travel. I make a point to find the time to relax and treat myself! Does anyone else do this?! This one is gentle enough for my sensitive skin and ultra hydrating. I also use this makeup remover.
Clarisonic – This has become one of my favorite beauty tools! I love the compact size of this one – and of course the fact that it’s pink!
Chanel Rouge Coco Lip Color- I bought this lipstick a few weeks back and LOVE it!! It is creamy, soft, smooth (more of a balm texture) but doesn’t skimp on the pigment. I have the shade 218 Script – a great neutral and ideal for Fall.
Aerin Perfume – One of my all time favorite scents! I wear Amber Musk 🙂
YSL Sheer Lip Balm – This has a very similar consistency to the Chanel one (mentioned above) but is so sheer and light. It keeps my lips soft and moisturized without color.
TULA Skincare – I was sent a few of the Tula products months back, but wanted to give them a fair chance before sharing them with y’all. My results? AMAZING!! I am beyond obsessed with the exfoliating mask (I even made Charles do it!). It leaves your skin so smooth afterwards. I’ve been doing it every three days for weeks now and I honestly can’t say enough good things about this product. I also use the day and night moisturizer. It is refreshing and light for under makeup or to throw on before bed. This serum is another fave! Overall, this line is incredible!
I used to be the type to bring so much jewelry with me everywhere I go but since being engaged and now married, I find myself not wearing a lot of jewelry. Is anyone else like this?? Don’t get me wrong, I love jewelry and believe a statement earring can 100% complete an outfit but I’m not piling on as much as I used to. I brought my favorite Kendra Scott earrings with me, an Hermes bracelet, and my monogram ring.
