On Friday, I had such a fun filled day. I was giddy with excitement when I heard that the MacKenzie-Childs team was coming to my hometown for a day of activities with local bloggers and influencers. As a longtime fan of the brand, and a personal collector, I couldn’t wait to see what was in store for the day!
We attended all day workshops from flower arranging, to ceramic painting, to wreath decorating, and topped it off with a tea. There was also a delicious breakfast and lunch in the mix with the most beautiful MacKenzie-Childs tablescapes (no surprise there!). While I thoroughly enjoyed myself and the planned events, what I took away from the entire experience was the incredible brand story and the special people who work there. If you want to learn more about the brand, you can do so here.
For me, my love for Mackenzie-Childs dates back to my childhood. One of my best friends growing up, also named Lauren, had a family that loved Mackenzie-Childs. Her Aunt was a major collector, having everything from furniture to wallpaper, to all things tabletop. Her grandmother (an amazing cook!) gifted me my first piece, a pie dish, with one of her homemade pies for Christmas back in 1997! And that is one of my favorite aspects to the whimsical brand. Whether you decorate your entire house with the colorful designs or have only a few pieces serving as a pop of fun, the recognizable brand brings joy everywhere. Below I am sharing a peek at the beautiful event and a look into the experience.
