As the seasons turn, our wardrobe has a shifting pattern as well. Bright summer colors begin to parallel the changing colors of nature. Think burnt orange, forest green, candy apple red, and wild berry shades. One of the colors I am drawn to as of late it burnt orange or rust. Rather than brown or camel, this unique hue seems to be popping up everywhere! These colors are rich yet cozy, and always imbue the spirit of autumn.
When it comes to shopping for new pieces to add to my wardrobe, Nordstrom is naturally my first stop. The selection of sweaters and cozy knits, booties, denim, scarves, and all things fall is simply unmatched! Since it’s a little early here in Texas for layers, I am wearing dresses like this Ulla Johnson one, that are temperature appropriate but with rich tones that feel seasonally fresh. Below, I am sharing my top picks in all of the autumnal tones I mentioned above that are too good to pass up! What is your favorite color to wear this time of year?
Dress, Handbag (under $50), Shoes, Earrings (old, similar here), Curling Iron, Lipstick
