When it comes to Fall, as I have mentioned in the past, my wardrobe becomes a bit more neutral. I spoke here about three great lip colors for fall, but I wanted to chat today about my current fall beauty routine and what Nordstrom products I’m loving. Their beauty department is filled with amazing brands and products from fragrance to skincare. One of my favorite blog post categories to read has always been beauty reviews because it gives you the opportunity to learn about new products and hearing genuine reviews before making the purchase on your own. It almost feels like getting ready together with your best girlfriends before prom, right?! Here are the Nordstrom beauty products that I’m currently loving…
Charlotte Tilbury Eyeshadow– I saw this eyeshadow at Nordstrom the other week on one of the makeup artists hands and asked what it was. She said, “Do you want to try it? It only takes 5 seconds?” and I thought if it’s truly that quick and simple to try, why not?! I LOVED it! I typically do not wear eyeshadow because I think it looks strange on me, but this is so pretty. You can apply it with your finger (like I do!) or with a brush like this one to blend it. It’s buildable, looks beautiful on its’ own, or paired with more shadows.
DryBar Dry Shampoo– My everything! I use this product every week and it gives my hair a little texture, an instant wash, and a great smell. Although it is not new to my fall routine, I will continue to use it throughout the season.
Charlotte Tilbury Healthy Glow – What my skin needs most during the cooler months is moisture (and lots of it!). I decided to try this one after hearing such great reviews and it truly helps bring some life back to the skin! It also blends beautifully to your individual skin tone with the help of tan and natural pigments that become the perfect shade during blending. I apply this before my foundation to create a flawless finish!
Bobbi Brown Bronze Shimmer Brick – I bought my first shimmer brick when I was in high school but had not tried the bronze version until recently. It adds the prettiest deep shimmer to the cheekbones but also doubles as eyeshadow. The combination of the five shades, used together or separately, gives off the slightest glow without being too sparkly. It also looks great with a red lip!!
Maison Margiela Perfume – Ever since I heard of the Margiela ‘Replica’ fragrances, smelling like memories and striking a olfactory sense, I had to try one myself. I picked up the scent By the Fireplace and it couldn’t be more perfect for this time of year. It truly resembles a crackling fire in the most incredible way. It’s warm, cozy and accompanied by woodsy notes making it somewhat masculine and distinct.
Hydrating Mask – This is the time of year where my already dry skin gets even dryer. While daily moisturizer is a must, I also like to add a mask to my weekly routine. This one is moisturizing, anti-stress, and plumps your face overnight.
