It was like Christmas morning the day we went to see Charles’ custom J. Hilburn tuxedo. After just a few short weeks from meeting with our stylist and placing the order, the suit arrived back in the states and tailored to perfection.
Charles knew from the start he wanted to wear blue on our big day. It is definitely his color, looks amazing on him, and really brings out his beautiful eyes. I was (very) weary of this decision at first, but after talking to our J. Hilburn stylist, was assured that it would be subtle yet memorable. I love that Charles has an opinion when it comes to clothing and enjoys looking his best. Having that bond and being able to bounce ideas off of each other is so special. The midnight blue tux that he ultimately decided to go with is stunning! The detailing of the grosgrain shawl collar, contrasting pant stripe, and monogram touches make it unlike anything I’ve seen before. I also like that it appears almost black in person but really pops when the light hits it just right.
Of course, as soon as he put it on he felt amazing (and looks like James Bond, if you ask me)! More importantly, it fit like a glove. It is impeccable!! He is so handsome and I can’t wait to walk down the aisle and see him standing there in something blue. Dream come true!
Every detail is completely customized to you and your liking. From the liner, to the addition of monograms, to the cuff links and buttons. He decided to put our wedding date in the inside of his jacket (heart melting!) and a polka dot liner. 
Charles is such a monogram man, just like his grandfather, but appreciates subtlety. He went with a tone on tone monogram on his shirt cuff and jacket sleeve.
