Summer has begun! Cue the longer days, time spent outside, grilled food, fun memories with family + friends, and vacations. At all times, but especially in the summer, I love wearing bright and bold colors. Since we have always done most of our traveling during this season I thought it would be the perfect time to bring in a bag that combines two of my favorite things – color and travel.
I brought this darling Brahmin handbag with me to my first trip of the summer last week to Connecticut and couldn’t believe how many looks it went with. As a chronic overpacker, typically when I travel I bring multiple outfits and too many an assortment of accessories along for the ride. I’m a girl that loves options! Besides the diaper bag, this was the only other bag I brought! It looks just as cute dressed up with a mini dress (like what I am wearing today) as it does with a simple white tee or blouse and jeans. It’s no surprise that this crossbody bag goes with just about everything due to its multicolor snakeskin pattern and contrasting neutral trim. It’s also seasonless – I can’t wait to pair it with a chunky sweater come fall!
The Lane has to be one of my favorite bags that Brahmin designs due to the unique shape. It holds more than you would think, too! For a peek inside my bag, I’m carrying my wallet (although it does have wallet card slips), keys, phone, sunglasses, lipstick + compact, hairband and hand sanitizer – all of my must haves!
